6 Months Old! 8.8.13

I am a bit late on the post but this big guy is 6 months old! Time has gone way too fast! We love this cutie so much. He has brought so much joy into our lives. He is such a happy, smiley guy. Aisley adores him too. She is always talking to him, trying to make him laugh, wanting to hold, and when he cries she says, "cheer up little buddy! It's okay!" or "Can I make the little guy cheer up?" They are too cute together.

Carter Is in the 97% for height and weighs 20 lbs! He is my work out for the day haha. He is not too interested in the mobile life just yet... maybe it's due to all that extra weight holding him down ;) He loves people! He will smile for anyone, and gets sad when he is left. He is a great sleeper! He sleeps 12 hours with one feeding in between. Pears are about the only food he has warmed up to at this point. Carter has the sweetest little laugh. We cannot get enough of this kid. We love him so much! Happy 6 months!

Aisley and Sadie

They two are so cute together! They seriously have so much fun. Aisley is going to miss her like crazy. They have the cutest little conversations and love to make each other laugh. Brad caught this cute picture of them sitting in Grandpa greats backyard. Sadie was in the middle of singing the Cinderella song to Aisley :)

Cousins!

I am a little late posting but a few weeks ago we got to have Jared and Liz's kids over at my moms place for a week! We had so much fun! Aisley LOVED playing with cousins non stop all week. We went to bear world, painted fun pictures, worked our way through "lasers", had popcorn movie nights, pizza at the park, science experiments, treasure hunts and more! Thanks for coming guys! We miss you!

Trains, Cars and Airplanes

Aisley has always loved trains, cars and airplanes. My dad use to say she was going to be a tomboy haha. She isn't but she still loves them! She always says, 'All aboard!" She usually asks at least once a day if she can ride on a train and an air plane. She has expensive hobbies already! :)

Carousel Ride

This past week Brads cousins came to town. It was great to see them! We all took our little girls to the water park and to ride on the Carousel at Porter Park. It didn't really go over that well for Aisley...

Aisley and her cousins

Aisley was Excited!

Lost the enthusiasm pretty quick...

But hey, the bench was great!
She begged for round two, and that's when she was converted to the horse rides :)

Aisley is 2!

Happy Happy Birthday to our sweet Aisley Mae! I can't believe that she is two! She seriously is the sweetest, most animated little girl. We are so blessed to have her in our family! (7.17.13)

Brads cute grandma made Aisley this sign

About Aisley Mae at 2 years old:
- Favorite Food: pizza, hummus, mac and cheese, chocolate and juice
- Favorite shows: Mickey Mouse, Tangled, the Lorax, Diego and Dora
- Favorite things: anything outside, going on walks, jumping on the tramp, playing in the water, watering the plants with Grandma, reading books, and learning new things. She seriously thrives off of learning new things. She loves to be quizzed about different things.
- Aisley has a crazy good memory. I tell her things once and she remembers them. Last conference Brad showed her a picture of the 1st Presidency before it started Saturday Morning. We didn't mention their names again and on Sunday when she saw Eyring and Uchtdorf she remembered both of their names. That is how she is with everything.
- Aisley learned to talk at a young age and is such a chatter box now! It's so fun!
- She loves to say the prayer and can do it all by herself. If you don't call on her she will say her own during yours haha
- Aisley loves her little brother and always tries to make him smile. She baby talks to him now and it is so funny!
- Aisley can almost count to twenty
- She knows the letters A, E, S, O, and T (really random, and I'm not sure how she learned them but she has started pointing them out lately.)
- She is very social. She will go up to kids she has never met and put her face right up to theirs and talk to them.
- She loves to dance! She shakes her bum so funny haha. When we are at the store she will stop randomly and start dancing to the music.
- Aisley likes to sing and will make up songs about anything you ask her to. She is so funny!

Seriously, we love this little girl so much. She keeps us on our toes. We are so grateful to be her parents!
